IT ALL STARTED LIKE THIS
One Sunday afternoon, in a warehouse in Milan, while chatting with Alberto, an idea took shape: let’s organize a vineyard aperitivo with a few friends. A simple plan, nothing out of the ordinary.
But that conversation sparked something inside.
We began to talk about Oltrepò: its wines, its beauty, so often overlooked.
A shared desire surfaced: to shine a new light on this territory. To tell its story differently. To offer a new compass for exploring it.
And so a project was born. An idea rooted in wine, of course, but seen through a broader, curious, contemporary lens.
We realized that in Milan’s enotecas and restaurants, Oltrepò is nearly invisible. Yet, behind its hills lie surprising stories, passionate producers, and genuine excellence just waiting to be discovered.
WINE IS JUST THE BEGINNING
Wine was the first milestone for Brilùs.
With boldness, we chose an innovative business model, one capable of bringing to life an authentic expression of the territory while remaining compelling in a constantly evolving market. For this reason, we built a network with select, established agricultural and winemaking realities - chosen for their sustainable processes and careful techniques - and, together with our team of experienced oenologists, we refined the precious raw material into a product, giving it new life to resonate with a curious, dynamic, discerning audience.
Brilùs is a narrative, a desire to seek, to discover, and to add value.
To carry forward this journey, starting with wine as the first important piece of our project, we aim to create experiences, foster collaborations, and promote authentic, slow, mindful tourism.
Oltrepò Pavese possesses everything needed to become an extraordinary destination, and we want to contribute to this transformation, one step at a time.
